The commercialization of idle and slow-moving products constitutes a priority market niche for GI, which, through its business system, has among its missions the management of these resources through direct purchase sales, the development of commissions or the consignment for which it corresponds to these companies to identify and manage the sale of their own inventories as those of the rest of the economic entities of the country.
Activities that stand out
GI operates in the COMMERCE SECTOR of Cuba in a Wholesale manner through the activity of wholesale merchandise, of national production or import, destined for production entities, retail or wholesale traders, industrial and institutional consumers and natural persons.
This form of commerce is established through the network of UNITIENDAS establishments dedicated to the commercialization of industrial products destined for natural and legal persons (State Management Forms and Non-State Management Forms).
This line of business is developed from the network of wholesale product stores to the network of retail stores. Among the latter are the Industrial Craft Market: MAI and the Construction Materials Stores: Multimat as fundamental suppliers of the store network. The wholesale-retail trade has as fundamental objectives:

The Berroa Industrial Park is an interesting project that arises from ideas conceived by specialists of the Industrial Group with the aim of converting the Industrial Products and Services Marketing Company: Universal La Habana, into a production, storage, commercialization entity and logistics services for industrial and food products. It aims to recover and increase the storage capacities available to this company, as well as comply with the required safety standards, increase sales levels, improve its economic results and achieve higher levels of attention to man and comply with important aspects in correspondence with the National Plan for Economic and Social Development until 2030.
The business project is aimed at providing space to different important economic actors in Cuban society today such as micro, small and medium-sized companies, with the guarantee of logistics services related to their economic activities. This sector of society is the one who will sustain the business based on the investment possibilities with prior review and approval of its submitted projects.
Its Warehouse Base is dedicated to the reception, storage and distribution of a wide range of products that are sold in national currency in the network of stores and Service units of the Government of the Capital, served by the Ministry of Internal Commerce (MINCIN) .
It has 6 warehouses of approximately 10,000 m2 each, designed with an outdoor area and doors that allow the operations of large vehicles. They have water supply, electrical network service, telephone and security.
